Hi I'm Jason

I grew up in Kaysville, Utah, and later Chemistry at BYU. I am in the Fort Worth, Texas Mission now, serving in Granbury, Texas.

About Me

I am studying Chemistry in college right now, and I am loving it! Science is so cool, and I really am a scientist at heart. I fully believe in the scientific method, and I believe in discovering truth for myself. I love music, and I enjoy playing the saxophone and the trumpet, and well as listening to really good music.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I feel that the Gospel is true, and I know that God lives. No other religion teaches the same doctrine that makes so much sense and feels so good, and I cannot deny the existence of a divine Creator. I can't deny the truths found in the LDS church. As I've been on my mission, I've come to realize that this really is the true church, and no other church has all that we have. Although I'm no where near perfect, I have realized that all Christ asks is that I try to be like him.

How I live my faith

While I was at BYU, I lived my faith like almost every other student here. We obeyed an honor code, and it helped us live our faith. I participate in church every week, and I taught a class for an hour a couple times a month. I try to live me life in a way that Christ would be proud of me. Now that I'm serving my mission, I'm living my faith every moment of my day. I'm just trying to do what Christ would do in my position, and I share his gospel, not only in word but in deed as well.
