Hi I'm Stephanie Coulam

I am graduating with my Bachelor's in Math Education, love to play sports, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I love to spend as much time outdoors as possible. I really enjoy running and riding mountain bikes. I also love to camp and rock climb. I think that I am surrounded by beauty and can't get enough time to enjoy all of it! I just graduated from college with a degree in math education. I hope to be a middle school math teacher. I enjoyed my experience as a student teacher at a middle school and want to continue on that path!

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, but I wouldn't change that for anything. I knew that this church was true from a fairly early age. About two years before I was born, my brother passed away very suddenly. After I was born, my family was still grieving the loss of my brother and would tell each other stories about him. I felt very sad because I never knew him nor shared these experiences with my family. One day, I wanted to know if families really could be together forever since I had heard this was the case through my church teachers and parents. Long story short, I received my answers: families can be together forever! This knowledge has given me so much peace and comfort and is only one of many reasons why I am a Mormon!

How I live my faith

Right now, I am preparing to serve a mission in New Jersey! I can't wait to get out there and share the joy that comes from the gospel and this church. Throughout my entire life, I have tried to live my faith by being a good example and friend to others. I have volunteered a lot of my time towards helping children develop themselves, either academically or athletically. I have spent a lot of time helping kids work on their homework and prepare for upcoming tests. I have also spent a lot of time coaching and officiating several different sports. Through all of this, I have enjoyed giving back to the community and will continue to do so.
