Hi I'm Daniel

I love Michigan - where I'm from. I love to make music and learn about physics! And I love being Mormon!

About Me

I have been blessed with incredibly great family members and friends, and I love to spend time with them! I like camping and being outside. My favorite outdoor adventures have been to Idaho's Teton Mountains and Michigan's Manitou Islands. My favorite tv show is Bob Ross's "Best of the Joy of Painting." I like the colors blue and gold, which is great, because I'm about to serve a mission in Sweden and I want to go to the University of Michigan in a few years. Right now, I'm studenting at Brigham Young University. It's a pretty happenin' place. I like playing tennis and trombone and piano. I've been in a couple plays, and so far my favorite character to pretend to be was Mr. C. in "Happy Days."

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have prayed pondered to know if the church, and thus the Book of Mormon and Bible, is true -- and the spiritual and mental answer is that it is. I am a Mormon because it makes me happy, it makes my family happy, and it draws us closer to each other than anything else. I am a Mormon because after each time of doubt, confusion, or feeling lost, I am led back to the conclusion that Christ lived for us and that this Church is His.

How I live my faith

A lot of the time that I live according to my faith it's in doing small things - like picking up misplaced trash and usually being a nice guy. I think that this sort of stuff leads to the most prominent effects. More targetedly, I spend time helping the missionaries in my city teach and help others. I am also the seminary teacher at my church, so I get to prepare a weekly lesson on the New Testament - which we are studying this year - and teach it to the students, who are high-school-aged kids.
