Hi I'm Hannah

I love music, YouTube and the fact that I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Hannah and I am a 20 year old at the start of her 18 month missionary service in the Idaho Pocatello. I'm not actually there yet, so I can't tell you how awesome it is, but I am very excited! I can't wait to devote my time and efforts to serving the Lord and serving fellow sons and daughters of God by sharing my beliefs. I don't know how it'll be on my mission, but right now at home I love music and am either listening to something or trying to play something for the majority of my spare (and not spare) time and always while driving. I adore live music, and wish gigs were cheaper and didn't sell out so quickly. I love the YouTube community and have my own channel with videos and a fair number of lovely subscribers. Rollarcoasters make me happy - one of my favourite places is Alton Towers. I love my family and extended family very much as we have great times together. I love the Gospel and the opportunites I am blessed with.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know it is right. Even if the church was not true, being a Mormon is a great thing. The church is very much organised to be a support system, and we not only have the opportunity to serve others but also receive much love and help. It brings out the best in people, and gives us opportunity to share and grow our talents. The best part of the Church of Jesus Christ, the cherry on the top, (or rather, the core) is the fact that it is true. It's the reason why the church is so well organised and the reason why it works - our perfect Saviour, Jesus Christ, organised it for us. I like to think if I was not a Mormon I would still be a good person. Most people are good people. But without the Gospel, without the knowledge of Jesus Christ's atonement for us, I would not know my purpose, and I would not reach my full potential. I would not have the opportunity to talk with my Father in Heaven daily, nor would I receive blessings that make my life happier and easier. I would not know that the Lord has a plan set out for me, that He wants me to lead the best life that I can so I can return to live with Him after this life. I want to be the best I can be in my life, and without my Saviour's help, I am not. I have felt of His love and I have no desire to disappoint Him or myself is this life. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I about to become a full-time missionary for the next 18 months, and I cannot wait. I will spend two hours everyday studying and learning from the scriptures, and the rest of the time telling people about what I believe in, doing service and doing my part to help people feel closer to Christ, and to Heavenly Father. I will be praying to God frequently daily and striving to do His will. I have been a consellor in the Young Women presidency in my ward. That included teaching lessons, organising and running activities for the girls aged 12-17. I loved learning from and being inspired by the youth. Before I was called into Young Womens I was the Ward Primary Music Leader, which required me to teach and sing songs with the children for 20 minutes every Sunday. This was a lot of fun, and I am grateful to have had that calling.
