Hi I'm Ho'onani

I love to play sports, I am studying Political Science in school, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student who loves to have fun. I like to be around people and to be happy. I, along with my whole family especially like to be active and play sports. I come from a really close family that I love very much. I enjoy spending time with all of my family, including my aunts, uncles and cousins. Because I am so close to my family, it was hard to leave them and go to college, but it has been a great experience. I have made many great friends and have continued to be able to be happy and have fun. I love life!

Why I am a Mormon

I started out being a Mormon because my parents are Mormon. I have been attending this church ever since I was born. I do not continue to be a Mormon because my parents are or because they want me to be. I am a Mormon because I know it is the true church. I have not just believed blindly. I have read the Book of Mormon. I have prayed. I have learned all of the principles of the church. I have done the things that have been asked of me. I have acted in faith. I have asked God of this is the true church. In doing all of these things, I have come to know on my own that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true church on the earth today. I know that it is the same church that Jesus Christ created while he was on the earth which has been restored. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and goes hand in hand with the Bible. I know that God answers our prayers, and that when we ask Him questions, He will answer us.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by working to be an example to others each day. I also live my faith by being a happy person every single day. In order to do both of these things, I have decided to serve as a Mormon missionary. In being a missionary, I will be able to live my faith to the fullest each and every day. I will be able to teach others about Jesus Christ. I will be able to tell people how Jesus Christ and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has made my life what it is today. I will be able to tell people of the things that I know and share with them the message that makes my life so happy and draws my family so close together. I will leave to serve my mission in less than two weeks now and I cannot wait to be able to show my faith by teaching the gospel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
