Hi I'm Cassie Jo Coulam

I grew up in Heber City, Utah. I will be serving an LDS mission for 18 months. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love the outdoors. Anything outside, and I'm there! I love to rock climb, hike, run, camp, and play soccer. I'm a firm believer in being healthy. I love to cook and eat delicious healthy food, and maintain a good lifestyle of healthy exercise. I love music. It is a huge part of my every day life. I love to listen to new artists and some of my all time favorites are Coldplay, Bob Dylan, Frank Sinatra, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I play the piano and sing and I love creating new music to share with people. I grew up with 3 older brothers and a wonderful Mom and Dad. I feel so blessed to have grown up in the beautiful Heber Valley! It's a lovely place and a heaven for growing up. I was lucky enough to have parents who were/are active in the LDS faith. They taught me lessons at a young age and I went to church with them growing up. I eventually developed my own testimony of the church. I recently returned from BYU-Hawaii where I attended school for a semester. I grew by leaps and bounds. I relied on my Savior for help and love in time of need. I can't remember a time being so happy. I want to share this happiness with the world. That is why I have chosen to serve for this church. I cannot wait to serve the people of Orlando, Florida!!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it is such a great lifestyle. I am a Mormon because it makes me so happy. It teaches me to strive to be better EVERY DAY. It offers continual progression and happiness. It allows me to be with family and friends that I love FOREVER. There are no limits with the Lord on our side. We can literally do anything and everything with Him. His love for us is endless, unconditional, real, and nearly tangible. He inspires me daily to work harder and be better. The time is now, and I can't wait to share this testimony with the world.

How I live my faith

I love attending church each Sunday. It is a mostly LDS populated community where I'm from. The number of missionaries leaving on missions is astounding. That means I get to attend a missionary farewell nearly every Sunday!! It's a priveledge and blessing, and I'm thankful I have great heros to look up to. I love the singles ward and recognize how powerful the young adults of today's world are. We are striving to bring the gospel to all the world, and living it as well as we can every day. One of the ways we do that is by having gosepl discussions on a daily basis. We talk about and share good spiritual experiences and edify each other. We read scriptures and pray together. It's a beautiful life.
