Hi I'm Simon

I grew up in Germany and in the United States and am currently studying Organic and Biochemistry in England, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently moved to Bletchley England for my studies. I am a student at the University of Plymouth and am studying Organic and Biochemistry, I am basically studying to be a Perfumer. I was born in and raised in Germany although I have spent close to ten years of my life in beautiful Arizona. That about sums me up in a few short words.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe that we are all on this earth for some reason or another, we walk through life on individual paths with a fairly similar goal. I believe most people on earth want to be happy and want others to be happy, this being their main objective. To achieve this goal we must be guided in our own individual paths and God is our own person guide and will help each and everyone personally to achieve what our righteous hearts desire. It can be difficult at times, but knowing that I am personally guided gives me great ambition to carry on. There is no doubt in my mind that this isn't true, I am proud to be able to call myself one of many Mormons.

How I live my faith

I was raised in this church so I have lived the gospel my whole life, so this is actually a really good question. Being in my early twenties, the youth of the church are quiet different compared to what you would consider to be an average Joe outside of the church at my age. I believe the biggest differences are that we try to live by the commandments that were given to us by God, for instance we live a chase life before marriage and we treat our bodies in the best way possible (yes that includes no alcohol). I also participate in activities that are run by the church such as dances, and get together's where we strengthen one another and just have fun. I also served a mission like many members of this church do at my age. I'm not quiet sure if this answered the question fully, but I try and tend to live my faith by actions.
