Hi I'm Jonathan

I'm a Mormon. I am a father of three children. I am an active Harley Rider and martial artist in Tae Kwon Do.

About Me

I am a husband and father of three great children. I have a very demanding career with a large technology company. Outside of being a father and employee, I am a student at Marquette University seeking a MBA. I love Harley-Davidson motorcycles and ride daily as long as it is above 40 degrees and not raining. I ride with my wife (who owns her own bike) and our kids on a regular basis. If I am not riding, I love SCUBA diving, Tae Kwon Do, yard work, working out etc. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is very, very important to myself and my family. I enjoy serving others.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon as I have found truth and peace in the teachings and guidance I receive on a daily, and weekly basis. I was born into a family that were members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I came to find my testimony of the gospel through of series of classes, and time spent reading and praying about the Book of Mormon. I really prayed hard to gain a testimony of the modern prophet Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon that he translated from ancient writings into the English language by the spirit of Heavenly Father. I could not serve a mission without this testimony. I gained a very strong feeling of the truthfulness of the gospel and the church at the age of 19 soon before I left to serve a full time mission in Wisconsin. From the time I left on my mission to this day I have had to continually read and pray to grow my testimony in the church. I know the church is true and that Jesus Christ is my savior and that we have a prophet of god on the earth today.

How I live my faith

I work hard everyday to live the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am not perfect, but working to be better daily. I serve as a member of our wards Elders Quorum Presidency. I enjoy working with the other presidency and quorum members. I am also a home teacher to two wonderful families. I enjoy working with our kids on various service projects and activities in the community.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Family is the most important thing in my life. I am so thankful that I have the gospel of Jesus Christ to help me raise my family. I am very thankful to be married for time and eternity to a wonderful woman, and sealed together to our three adopted children. Show more Show less
