Hi I'm Chris Little

I was born in Prince George BC, Canada. I love music. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love music! I play the trumpet, piano, and french horn for the most part. I've been playing piano for 6 years, trumpet for 5 years, and french horn for half a year. I plan on going to university after I serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints! I plan on leaving for my mission of July 2013! I also love to swing dance. I also like going to EFY, AFY and Youth Conference! Best programs ever for during the summer! You get to meet lots of new people and dance and grow spiritually! If your between the ages of 14 and 17 I highly recommend you try out one of these programs!

Why I am a Mormon

I love this church! It is what brings joy and happiness into my life. I don't know what I would do without it as I would feel very lost without it. I know Jesus Christ lives and that he loves all of us. I know he will return again to this earth. I know Joseph Smith restored the gospel through the power of God. I know he translated The Book of Mormon. I know that the writings in The Book of Mormon are true, and that the prophets who's teachings are in The Book of Mormon are true and that they did once live upon this earth. I know I can be with my family forever! I know that if we pray we will get an answer. Even though we may not sometimes like the answer given to us, it is what's best for us. I know this to be true. I know that Thomas S. Monson is the prophet here on the earth today, and that he does receive revelation from Jesus Christ to lead and guide this church. I also know that the twelve Apostles are also called of God and that they also help lead this church. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ Amen

How I live my faith

Right now I am serving a mission in Pennsylvania where I go around teaching people about the restored gospel of Jesus Christ! I serve others in any way that I can! I read my scriptures everyday and love it! Reading the scriptures is the best thing ever! I'm doing my best to become the best person I can be. If you have any questions feel free to ask!

What blessings can you receive from reading the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other scriptures?

Chris Little
Reading the Book of Mormon and Bible with other scriptures has brought great joy into my life! One of the biggest things I've noticed is that I have been able to feel the influence of the Holy Ghost in my life a lot more. With that influence I have been able to figure out what is really important to me in life. Another blessing I have got is being able to feel pure joy. I've figured out that whenever I read my scriptures I get a feeling of peace that is the most wonderful feeling ever! I've also had my prayers answered through reading the scriptures which has been the best thing that's happened to me while reading them! Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about the nature of God?

Chris Little
We believe that God is our loving Heavenly Father. Just as your parents loved you he loves us with all his heart. He wants us to be able to return and live with Him in the Eternities! We believe he has a body of flesh and bones. After all in the beginning it says we were created in His image. (Genesis 1:27) We believe that God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost are all separate and not one being. In Doctrine and Covenants it says "The Father has a body of flesh and bones as tangible as man's; the Son also; but the Holy Ghost has not a body of flesh and bones, but is a personage of Spirit. Were it not so, the Holy Ghost could not dwell in us." (Doctrine and Covenants 130:22) I just want to say again, I know he loves us no matter what we may have done in our life! Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about family?

Chris Little
We believe that family is the most important social unit here on this earth. It is through family that we have our greatest moments in life. We believe it is important to build and strengthen our relationship with our family because we know that families can be together forever! If we are to be together forever than how important is it that we learn to love and sustain each other?! I know that I will be with my family forever and I love them so very much! What is the Book of Mormon?

Chris Little
The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. It is a record that tells of God's dealings with the people of ancient times in America. Just as the Bible was written by prophets of God so was the Book of Mormon! The Book of Mormon goes hand in hand with the Bible, and together they confirm that Jesus is the Christ. The Book of Mormon is also a book with a promise. In one of the last chapters in Moroni 10: 3-5 it says: " Behold, I would exhort you that when ye shall read these things, if it be wisdom in God that ye should read them, that ye would remember how merciful the Lord hath been unto the children of men, from the creation of Adam even down until the time that ye shall receive these things, and ponder it in your heart. And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost. And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things." I know that if you do this and read the Book of Mormon then pray with real intent to know if it's true, you will receive an answer! Show more Show less
