Hi I'm Ken

I grew up on a farm/ranch in Idaho. I am a CPA and do corporate accounting. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of 5. (3 boys and 2 girls). My three oldest are my wife's children from a previous marriage. Joining an existing family had it challenges but has been worth it. Imagine going from single and all the free time in the world, to a wife and 3 kids. Slight adjustment! I work full time as an accounting manager for a large corporation. When I have free time, I enjoy to camp and hike in mountains of Idaho.

Why I am a Mormon

Why I have chosen to actively participate as a Mormon is that I know this is the right thing to do and what God wants for me. This is Christ's Church and where we can find his complete gospel. It's that simple.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by participating in my weekly worship services. I also live my faith by striving throughout the week to demonstrate, through my actions, that I am a disciple of our Savior. On Sundays, I have been asked to serve as the secretary of our local congregation's religious leader. This is very fulfilling. I help carry some of weight of the administrative responsibilities of our leader so he can focus more on the spiritual needs of those in our community. I also live my faith by helping my children learn to have faith in Jesus Christ. I view this as one of my key responsibilities as a father. I want my children to feel the joy and piece that can only come from having faith in our Savior. If they can begin to develop that faith now, I know this will help carry them through this life's challenges.
