Hi I'm Jeff

I'm a Software Engineer. I like biking and playing board games. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college graduate from Weber State University with a degree in Computer Science, and I am currently using that degree in my job with the Government on Hill Air Force Base. I bought a house, but I'm still single. I like inviting friends over and playing board games. I also like photography, riding my bicycle, and going on hikes or walks. I prefer the spring and summer months and I enjoy camping.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but I didn't always believe as strongly in this church as I do now. When I was a teenager, as I was reading the Book of Mormon for the first time, I felt like I needed to repent. When I knelt and prayed, I felt a such a strong feeling of peace that I never before felt in my life that I knew Jesus Christ was real and that He is my Savior. As I continued to read the Book of Mormon, and later the Doctrine and Covenants, I felt the spirit touch my heart. It was almost a feeling of excitement -- it was a feeling of joy -- and I knew that Joseph Smith was a true prophet, and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was Christ's true church.

How I live my faith

I am active in my local Singles congregation, and I enjoy going to the many church activities we have. I am frequently in charge of the game nights we often have. I also help some of the brothers in the church with their home teaching. In my community, I like sometimes doing random acts of anonymous service. I also frequently donate blood to the American Red Cross.
