Hi I'm Amy

I grew up in Tallahassee, FL. I'm studying Exercise Science. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a student at BYU studying Exercise Science. I love music, sports, and the outdoors. In July I will be serving a mission in Brazil.

Why I am a Mormon

I was fortunate enough to be born into a Mormon family but that is not why I choose to follow this gospel. As I grew old enough to make decisions for my own, I knew I needed to decide for myself whether this is the true church of Jesus Christ. Through much study and prayer, I received my answer. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer and He has paid the price for my sins. I know that God is my loving Father in heaven who hears my prayers and wants me to be happy. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and is the most correct book on earth. I know that this is the gospel of Jesus Christ and we have been given modern-day prophets that are on the Earth today that speak to God just as Noah or Moses did in the Old Testament times. And, something that is very important to me, I know that if I live worthily I can return to live with my Heavenly Father and my family forever. In short, I am a Mormon because it makes me happy, helps me improve my life, and strengthens my relationship with my God and Savior.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith on a daily basis by striving to be the best I can be. I always have room for improvement but it's an ongoing process. I live my faith when I look for opportunities to serve others. Service is a major part of this gospel because we are all children of God and He knows and loves each of us individually. I also try to live my faith by answering questions and sharing what I know to be true.
