Hi I'm Chandler

I have lived most of my life in Salt Lake City, Utah. I play football, basketball and skateboard. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love sports. I love getting the most out of my body; going to the gym, being on teams. I played football in high school. I'm going on a mission for the church spring of 2013. When I come home, I will play college football. I love playing pick up basketball, skateboarding, and drawing. I have a great family; a mom and a dad who have always been there for me, and a brother and a sister who I would do anything for. I am the oldest kid in my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this Church. My parents are believers. I have no doubt that they go to Church every week because they believe in the gospel associated with it. I have always desired to know. I have stayed engaged in this church because I know that it is true. Which is to say that I know that Christ came to Earth and died for our sins and sorrows and disappointments, and that the LDS church has the most complete revelation on what our relationship with Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father should be like. These truths are contained in sacred scripture, especially the Book of Mormon, as well as prophets called of God to teach us and warn us. I believe these things with everything in me.

How I live my faith

I feel very indebted to the Lord. He has saved me from sadness and sin countless times. I try to go about my day showing the gratitude I have for this fact in my relations with people. I see great people in the word, I just try to love everyone, because that's what Christ did when He was on the Earth. I have been called to serve as a leader among my peers, and learned to lead meetings, public speaking skills, and how to serve and keep others in mind.
