Hi I'm Joshua

I'm a brother, a musician, missionary, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love music and all aspects of it (writing, listening, playing). I'm very active a live a "go, go, go" life. Balanced in there is work, school, sports like soccer, tennis, and track, music, student government, church responsibilities. I have a knack for math and will be attending Utah State University after my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I've chosen to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day saints not because of my family, friends, or any other form of peer pressure, but for my reasons alone. As I have grown up within the church ,and Utah especially, you see people who go but don't go. They are members, they attend, but only for the purpose of saying they go. I couldn't live my life that way. I read the scriptures, especially the Book of Mormon. I sincerely prayed as hard as I could to know of the gospels truth. Through the atonement of Jesus Christ I was able to change. I started begin to feel the spirit. I received real answers to my prayers. The gospel came alive and I was a little upset with myself that I hadn't been taking part of it like this earlier in my life. The happiness, the true happiness, that comes from this gospel and its truthfulness is now the most important aspect of my life. I know that God the father, His son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost are all real as you and me. The Book of Mormon another testament of Jesus Christ and is the most honest and correct book on earth today. Joseph Smith translated that book and correctly reorganized the Lord's Church. God doesn't change and his love is equal for all of us. We still receive revelation through the prophets. Miracles still happen today. I've come to know this through my own experiences within the gospel and I recommend it to you. It is the truth.

How I live my faith

I've been President, 1st and 2nd Counselor, and secretary all sometime through out my teenage years. I like to serve others as much as I can. Not always is there a message along with the service, but there is always the spirit present. I've led community service projects in which we have raised over $130,000.00 dollars for a charity. I share what I can and I show the rest. Now I am serving a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Taiwan, Taichung! I live my faith by the way I act, nothing on this earth makes me happier than the gospel and I always try to show that.
