Hi I'm Steve

I love travel and adventure and the great outdoors. I'm a student and a businessman. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I run and rock climb. I read books and play the piano. I am an MBA student and look forward to someday building a business with others.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a Mormon family, but in a large city where I did not have many other Mormon friends. From my childhood, my faith was an anchor to my life. I had a purpose. I had goals. I knew I was different in ways that were working to make me a better person. On many occasions, I have sadly seen agony in the lives of others which this gospel has guarded me against, and I am thankful for it. At times I have questioned, but I am a Mormon because I always arrive at the same answer. God lives and He has helped me feel his love throughout my life. I know that this church is where He wants me to be.

How I live my faith

My church has given me many opportunities to serve and grow. I started playing the organ in worship services at age 14. At first I was terrified, and now I really enjoy it. I have often work with youth groups and enjoy sharing my passions and interests with them. I appreciate the support network my church provides me, especially when I am far from home; I know that I can show up at church anywhere in the world and quickly find friendships. I enjoy trying to be that friend to others.
