Hi I'm Rob

I am an Artist A Backpacker, A Husband, A Father, A RN, A FNP Student, I am a Mormon

About Me

I was born in Utah and moved to St. George, in Southern Utah. I have always loved art and was educated in printmaking, but chose to become a Registered Nurse and then to continue Schooling to get my Family Nurse Practitioners license, to support my family. I served a mission for my church in the Czech Republic. I love the outdoors and love backpacking with my wife and three boys. I now live in N. Dakota where I am a Student at N. Dakota State University.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because I have asked my Heavenly Father for knowledge of the truth and through the Holy Spirit I have received a testimony of the Jesus Christ and His Atonement. I was raised in a Mormon household, but while in high school decided I needed to know if the Church my family believed was true. Through pray and faith that my Heavenly Father is listening to me and want to direct me, I was able to attain my own testimony of the truth. I believe the the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is Christ's Church. That Christ is the head of the church and leads it. I believe that the Book of Mormon is another witness of Jesus Christ and that when it is used in companionship with the Bible anyone can come closer to Jesus Christ and know his will for them in their life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith, by trusting in Christ and relying on the merits of his atonement to save me. I live my faith not just by relying on Him to save me, but knowing that by following His example I can become the best person, husband, father and friend that I can be. I live my religion by daily trying to be like Christ in all that I do and say.

What is the priesthood?

Rob
The Priesthood is the authority to act in God's name. It is also a way for me as a priesthood holder to serve others. Our Heavenly Father would want nothing more for his children than of those who seek to follow him to serve others, this is what the Priesthood means to me. I'm not always perfect at it, but I am always trying to improve. Show more Show less
