Hi I'm Brandon

I'm a university student. I love to swim. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to go swimming and hang out with my friends. I attended school at Utah State university studying Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. Currently I am serving a mission for the church in the Minnesota Minneapolis Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love this gospel. I know that it is true and it has blessed my life in many ways. I can see some of those blessings in having a good relationship with the members of my family. This gospel has helped my family to grow closer to one another and enjoy each other's company. I also follow this gospel because it helps me always remember who I am as a child of God, like each of us are.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following the standards that i have been raised with. These include reading my scriptures, praying, keeping God's commandments, and other similar things. The gospel I have been raised with helps me to have a happy and full life. As a missionary I also share this message with others daily.

Who chooses the Mormon prophet?

Quite simply the answer would be God. We believe that a man must be called by God to be the prophet and leader of His church. Just as Moses was called by God to be the prophet in his day, that is how a prophet is chosen in modern times. Show more Show less

Who wrote the Book of Mormon?

There is not one singular author to the Book of Mormon. It was written by a number of prophets that lived on the American continent from around 600 B.C. to 400 A.D. Just as the Bible was written by many people and then compiled into a single book later, Mormon (a prophet) compiled these ancient writings and put them into the Book of Mormon. Show more Show less
