Hi I'm Michelle

I love to laugh, to bake and to cook, I love to watch movies and read lots of books. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I just finished my third year of college and have loved every minute of it! I have been very involved in leadership organizations through my university. I am currently serving as the President of the Admissions Ambassadors, which is a fancy name for student recruiters. I am studying communications because I love talking with and meeting new people. There is nothing I love more than spending time with my big, crazy, wonderful family! I have 7 siblings, 5 in-laws, and 10 nieces and nephews. They are my favorite people on this planet and I wouldn't trade a day with them for anything. We have our fair share of ups and downs, but we stick together no matter what. We get together one Sunday a month for "Birthday Dinners" and eat like there is no tomorrow! Eating and chatting are our favorite family past times. I am a design enthusiast, whether it be fashion, interior, furniture, or even food, I love to create things! I am a very happy person and try to make any situation fun!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in an LDS family and was taught principles of the gospel from an early age. This, however, is not the only reason why I have chosen to stay a member of this church. Throughout my life, I have realized that my happiness and peace of mind stems from the knowledge I have learned in this gospel. Many people in my family feel as though this church has too many rules and they are missing out on so much by following them. Nothing in this church has ever brought me sadness or made me feel like I was missing out on something. This gospel has made my life feel whole! I have a life full of happiness, I have something to believe in, and I have faith that there is something more than just this life.

How I live my faith

I am currently preparing to serve a Mission in Arizona and I couldn't be more excited! I am stoked to be able to go out and bring the gospel to others. It is a very rewarding feeling to be able to share the happiness the gospel brings with others. I have decided to willingly dedicate 18 months of my life to Jesus Christ and sharing his message with the people of Arizona. Some people may think it is odd to send children out to share such an important message, but like my dad always says, "if the church wasn't true, the missionaries would have destroyed it a long time ago!". I am so excited to go out and teach!
