About Me

Hello! I am currently going to school in Orange, California studying dance and education. My hope is to one day be able to give back through my passions. I love all things art. Whether it is music, painting, film or movement--there is no life without creation. I love nothing more then to laugh and be with those I love. I am still finding out who I am and what plan my Father in Heaven has for me. But I love that each day I get to live brings a new discovery of my true potential and all that I have to offer this world.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been taught the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints ever since I can remember. As many who have been raised in the church would say, there comes a point when you have to decide for yourself what you believe. For me it was never really a specific moment when I decided to continue being Mormon, I just was. I never had any doubts, questions yes, but in one way or another they were always answered. The more I encircled myself in the church and the gospel the more happiness I felt and continue to feel to this day. I know that this joy I feel comes from the ultimate sacrifice of my Savior, my Redeemer. I know with certainty that Jesus died for me so that my sins would be forgiven through repentance and that I may have everlasting life and peace. I know that God lives and that He knows who I am and what I am going through. I know that I can return to live with them only through the principles and ordinances taught within the church. Being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has brought me more love, more hope, more joy then anything else I have ever experienced in this world. I am Mormon simply because I love my God and Savior.

How I live my faith

Faith is essential in my life. I live it day by day through the love I have for my Savior. I wake up everyday with the faith that I am doing exactly what the Lord needs me to do and He will help me through anything that comes my way. And he does. I have loved being involved in my church by helping plan fun activities. From small get togethers with the women to big dances. It has been fulfilling to see everyone come together and fellowship one another through engaging in wholesome activities that are in essence centered on Christ's love as each of us follow His example by loving those around us. Although I can not see all things, I feel. I feel my faith burning inside of me with the desire to do what is right and serve the Lord. I feel His out pouring of love, continually. I feel the healing power that comes when we have faith and trust in God. Faith is my strength.
