Hi I'm Justin

I grew up in West Jordan, Utah. I was in band and ran track in high school. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was involved in marching band from 7th -12th grade. I play the trumpet, baritone, horn and percussion. When I was a senior in high school I was the band president. Being involved in band gave me the opportunity to make many life long friends. I also love running. I was on the track team in high school. I may be on the short side but my short legs are fast legs. I ran the 100m, 200m, 400m and the 4 x 100 relay. I love serving and helping others. I especially love working with children, they have such a sweet and innocent spirit.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a strong member of the church. I know that Joseph Smith is a true prophet of God. The church gives me guidelines to live my life in a way that I will be able to return to live with my Heavenly Father again. The gospel gives me the assurance that if I live my live righteously I will be able to live my family eternally. I know that Thomas S. Monson is a true prophet of God on earth today who is here to give us guidance to help us in this crazy world we live in. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and was written for us in these latter-days. If we study the Book of Mormon and pray about it sincerely, we can find answers to all of our questions. I love this church with all of my heart. I love my Savior, Jesus Christ and know that he atoned for our sins. I testify of these things in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending all of my church meetings on Sunday. I serve/help members in my ward that need help such as the elderly women who can't shovel the snow in their driveways. I have had many callings in the young mens organization that has given me the opportunity to help teach the younger boys that are coming into the organization as well as get to know the boys in my ward better. Each one of the boys in my ward are my friends. I love reading my scriptures and learning more about the gospel and my Savior Jesus Christ. I know that when I pray, Heavenly Father is listening and knows me by name and knows of my needs, my pain, my frustration and is there to provide comfort for me.
