"I grew up in Cullman Alabama. Have traveled just about all united states. I am a Mormon"

About Me

I'm 55 years old, and loving every second of it. I enjoy hiking, mountain bike riding, and art. Outdoor activity's are what I like most . God has blessed me all my life, even though I kept turning away'. You know how children are. stubborn, slow, and very destructive. That's all changed. gotten older, and a little wiser. I keep my eye's,mind, and heart on God. It get's easier, and easier every day to let things go. I'm much happier, and love all my time with family, and friends. I'm 5'8" high, weight 190-200 .lbs, Grey hair, and social. I've work hard all my life; now I'm retired. Into computer's and gardening. Have one son 23, and doing great. am divorced. live by myself, keep a clean house, and am a very good cook. Most of all i enjoy my freedom. Praise God, and every day he gives me.

Why I am a Mormon

The church of Christ never ended, God is still with us, like he said the young men "will Prophecy" a process in which one or more messages that have been communicated to a prophet are then communicated to others. The old men will dream dreams, laying on of hands, carrying the priesthood, In the Latter Day Saint movement, priesthood is considered to be the power and authority of God, including the authority to act as a leader in the church. thus' I believe Joseph Smith was chosen by God to be a prophet and authority was given him to continue the "true church" the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints and that is why "I am a Mormon".

How I live my faith

I'm new to the Church, but have a calling already. I enjoy belonging to the body of Christ. My calling is to help keep the Church beautiful. The church helps me understand the true meaning of the Potter and the clay. For first time in my life I feel the need to be more Christlike every day. Each week I renew my covenant with God. Each day my faith grows stronger. I've always known there was more to Christ's word than most church's presented in detail for consideration. They didn't carry on the way the Savior instructed. Instead they over looked the whole book of Acts. "Jesus instructions after his Resurrection". To me there was no hope. I was told a lot about the Mormon's, and how they lived, and believed, by people that didn't even know,or had never read the book of Mormon. People repeat what they hear, even if it's not true. So I prayed about it, and then an Elder explained the fact that the book of Mormon was another testament of Jesus Christ and was true. There are prophet's that still hear the word of God, and priests, given the priesthood by power and authority of God. It is Great! to feel what God is doing, instead of Doubt, fear, and misunderstanding. Now I know God is still in contact with us. Joseph Smith saw Jesus Christ, and was one of the first Prophet's of the new world. Now my life is ruled, and guided by God, and I feel his presence at church. How I live my faith? By knowing Jesus Christ lives, leads, directs our every move by the authority of God. "Amen"
