Hi I'm Leah

I grew up in the great state of Arizona. Called to serve in California. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Northern Arizona in a place called Cameron located on the Navajo Reservation. It is a "don't blink or you'll miss it" small town, but it is MY town. My sisters, brother, and I relished in the freedom that we had to roam around the countryside and explore. However, I knew from an early age that I wanted to someday cross that reservation line and see what was beyond it. I love to travel whether it be by a car, airplane, boat, or bike I don't care, as long as I am moving in a new direction I haven't been before. I find the variety of cultures and traditions of people all around the world very fascinating and I want to know about them all. I am an avid reader and read the endings of books first because it is exciting to me to find out how the characters and the plot line get to the conclusion as I am reading. Cooking is what I enjoy because I LOVE to eat and because I know that food is a universal language that we all understand and love as well. I am first a child of Heavenly Father, second I am a disciple of Jesus Christ, and third I am a Navajo Woman.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father live and they have restored the fullness of the Gospel in these latter days. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Saints is the true church. I know who I am, I am a daughter of God and that knowledge brings so much happiness into my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying my hardest everyday to love another and serve them in anyway that I am able to whether I know them or not. Reading the scriptures and praying to my Heavenly Father for guidance and strength help me accomplish those things. Applying the Atonement in my life definitely helps me overcome the many trials that I face.
