Hi I'm Annie

I'm from Utah, I will travel the world, I love to help kids, I'm now going on a Mission to Kentucky, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to paint, and be as creative as possible. X) I worked as a zipline tourguide up in Washington State for a summer, and fell in LOVE with it. I will now be majoring in Recreation and Tourism, specifying in the outdoors, camping, hiking, you name it. :D I hope to take that major to graduate school and continue onward to become a child psychologist. I love kids, and I feel like I will be able to help them through things that other people might feel unable too. I love chilling with my friends, and going with them to do everything under the sun, literally. ;) I also love Doctor Who, BBC television in general.

Why I am a Mormon

In high school I didn't have much of a hankering for church, I knew I believed in God, it's just hard to grow up in Utah with everyone around you being Mormon and having a non-conformist attitude, like most teenage girls. Then I was diagnosed with PCOS and realized after much prayer and studying, that I need the gospel in my life, and I wanted to share it with others. When I moved to Washington State for college my testimony only grew stronger, and I started feeling like I was supposed to be doing something else. I loved college, and my classes were wonderful, but I just knew in my heart that I need to go on a mission, but was frustrated because I knew I had to wait until I was 21, feelings that I expressed in my journal on October 3, my 19th birthday. Then on October 6, they changed the age to 19, and answer to mine, and MANY others prayers! So here I go! Kentucky, here I come! I'm Mormon because I love and belief and live the message that we teach, Love EVERYONE. Even though it may not come across sometimes, and maybe people may even come across judgemental, all you need to to is remember that that is just the imperfect human, not the gospel. We are all imperfect, and even if we get upset with others for judging us, that's the same as judging their sins better than ours. Love everybody, and family is everything. :D

How I live my faith

I don't currently have any calls in my ward, but I've just recently got my mission call to Louisville, Kentucky!!! A mission is going and serving the Lord and his children in a certain place for 1 and a half years for girls, 2 years for boys. I can't wait to get out there and help people! :D
