Hi I'm Chelsea Kunz

I grew up in Portland, Oregon. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Portland Oregon. I am the forth child out of five. I am currently serving a mission and I have been called to the Philippines Baguio Mission. I will be serving for a year and a half and I am so excited to be serving the Lord. I know this gospel is true. It has blessed and continues to bless my life and my families lives. I want to share that knowledge and joy I have through this gospel with the families in the Philippines.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church. My parents were memebers their parents were member and so forth. Because of that I felt that the church was forced on me when I was a teenager and I was only relying on my parents testimony of the church. I really didn't know for myself that this church was true till I was about 17. At the age of 15 I started to really rebel against my parents and the commandments. My dad was bishop at the time which made it even harder for me because I felt like I had to be perfect when I knew I was far from it. I think I finally realized my testimony was my own after I had transgressed of some things and I was trying to work through them with my bishop. And after some time of working on these things for a period of time I felt the redeeming love of my Savior. I felt clean and pure and forgiven. I know this church is true. I know the atonement is real and I am a Mormon because I have come to find for myself that is true. I dont rely on others for my testimony, it is my own.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by my actions. I am currently serving a mission for a year and a half and letting go of worldly things so that I may serve and spread the gospel to our Heavenly Fathers children. I live my faith by being active in church each Sunday and trying my best to fulfill my callings in church. I live my faith by living the commandments that my Heavenly Father has given. I live my faith by knowing who I am and how much I am worth, I am a daughter of God.
