Hi I'm Emily

I'm studying International Relations. I call Utah home. I am currently a missionary in Paris France. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I grew up with the gospel in my life and consider it the greatest blessing! I have lived in Europe, Asia and North America and have traveled to many countries and traveling has become a great passion of mine. I have four sisters who also are my four best friends. I am an International Relations major at my university but I am currently putting school on hold while I serve a mission in Paris France. Snow-skiing is one of my favorite things to do and having lived in Utah, I can really say that it has the greatest snow on earth!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the peace it brings me in my life. The gospel brings me happiness, joy, peace, love and so many more positive things. It is the one thing that I can always count on to lift me up when I am down and where I can always turn to get that happiness. Knowing my worth in Heavenly Fathers eyes makes it so much easier to not pay as much attention to my worth in a worldly sense. Being able to always have Heavenly Father as guide, support and listener makes me feel that much more important and special, especially in a world where it is easy to get lost and feel neglected. Being Mormon gives me a sense of self-worth that nothing else can give me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to share my happiness with those around me and by letting them know the key to my happiness, the gospel of Jesus Christ. When I think or talk about the gospel I become even more happy and full of joy and when something is so great it becomes very difficult not to want others to share in that happiness with you. The gospel is what makes me my best and I know that it can help make everyone their best as well.
