Hi I'm Sheridan R. Hunter

I was born in Long Island New York and grew up in Parker Colorado. I am a student at Utah Valley University.

About Me

About me hmmm lets see....... I come from a family of six i have my parents and my two sisters and one brother, I am one of the middle children! I am currently a student at Utah Valley University and I am a freshman. My hobbies include running, and dancing. I have recently ran my first half marathon and would definitely like to eventually train for a full marathon. I do not really dance anymore but i did all through high school and I loved it and it is still something that I am still very interested in. I love animals I have a pet cat and dog and I love them!

Why I am a Mormon

I feel that the best way to express why I am a Mormon is to just bare my testimony of the things that I know are true. I am a Mormon because I know that this is the Lords True church on the earth today. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet and that through him the Book of Mormon was translated and the church was restored to the earth. I know that the Power of prayer is so real and I know that when I pray there is someone at the other end listening to every word that I say. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ know me personally. I know that the Lords hand is in all things and he knows what my needs are. I know that President Thomas S. Monson is a true Prophet today. This is the one true church and without this in my life I would be lost and would not be the same person that I am today. I feel it has made me and my family stronger and for that I am forever grateful for this amazing church and its true Gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in many ways, right now in my singles ward up at school I am a visit teaching advisor. My role may not seem to be important but to me it is, it is important for me to help others take care of fellow sisters in the ward. It is so great to have a program that allows us to do that in the church. I have recently been called to serve a mission. I have been called to serve in the Italy Milan Mission and I couldn't be more thrilled to go and serve the people there and dedicate myself to the Lord and his work for 18 months. I have always wanted to serve a mission and was so ecstatic when the age was changed for girls to 19. I know that the power of missionary work is so important in our church and is very real.
