Hi I'm Madison Warner

I am from Northern California. I am an artist and an athlete. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Madison and I graduated with a BFA in Photography from BYU-Idaho in 2012. I love to spend time with my family, who lives in Northern CA. I love to do anything involving sports or art! I have ran in multiple marathons and half-marathons and I plan to continue doing them for as long as I can. I find joy in the outdoors and in being active. I've worked as a Youth Camp Counselor, a dental assistant, and a swim coach. I have started my own portrait photography business and I love it! I feel that it is the small and simple things that bring us happiness, so that is how I live my life- just focusing on spending quality time with loved ones! I know that we can achieve great happiness in serving and loving those around us, especially our family members.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it brings me happiness, peace and comfort. My faith in Christ is why I am a Mormon, even when times are hard. I was "born into the church" but I have received a powerful confirmation of the Book of Mormon's truthfulness through study, prayer and application of it's principles in my daily life. My days are better when I strive to live righteously. I know that God loves me and that Christ has felt everything that I have felt and more, that he knows and loves me personally. When I have let my diligence in scripture study of the Book Of Mormon slip or weaken, I feel less happiness and peace. So I try to live the gospel, and in turn I am incredibly happy. That's why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to learn about Jesus Christ and doing my best every day to live in his example. I am leaving to serve a mission for the LDS Church in 6 days to the Lisbon Portugal mission and I couldn't be more excited to give 18 months of my time and life to the Lord. My life is so blessed because I strive to do my best every day and I am so grateful for Christ's Atonement that allows me to repent and move forward. I do my best to study and pray every day so that I can be in tune with the Holy Ghost and do what the Lord would have me do. I spent the summer of 2012 teaching and serving the youth of the church and community at Adventure For Youth- Outdoor Edition at Badger Creek, Idaho. There we did devotionals, studied the scriptures, camped, danced, did high ropes courses, white water rafting, horse back riding and so much more. There we were able to feel of the Savior's love through His spirit and to see the powerful effect that his beautiful creations and nature can have in our lives. I teach Sunday School (study of the scriptures/gospel) in my sunday meetings at our branch and I love it! We can learn so much when we teach and study. It's and incredible blessing in my life.
