Hi I'm Jean Ann Johnson

I grew up in Manderfield. I am the youngest of 6 children. I'm a Mormon, and love it!

About Me

I'm a mother of 4 children and grandmother of 7 grandchildren. My interests are spending time with my family and grandchildren. A great day for me is being with them, loving and playing. I like to go on walks, sew rugs and work in the garden or anywhere outside! I like to shop and go out to lunch. I like to go in the mountains and get loads of wood for our stove. I went to beauty college then worked in several shops. I helped manage a motel. I worked cleaning the seminary building. I tended kids when mine was little, then worked as an instructional assistant in the school system.

Why I am a Mormon

From a young age I have been around members of the church as I grew up in the church. I continue to follow the gospel because the greatest blessings in my life have come about because of my membership in the church. I guess my testimony was spiritually born, not by sight, not by having seen angels, and not by having been part of a great physical manifestation or visual revelation, but by answers to prayers and life experiences, a little at a time. My testimony is heart felt and has been strengthened through being a mother. I know I have a Heavenly Father who knows me personally, loves me, hears and answers my prayers. I have a Savior and Redeemer who died for me and atoned for my sins. I'm thankful for the scriptures and the Prophet Joseph Smith for restoring the church in the latter days and translated the Book of Mormon ( another witness of Jesus Christ). I know we have a modern day Prophet who speaks to us today and asks us to repent and serve others. My testimony is one of my greatest treasures. I know that families can be together forever in celestial glory in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I have worked with children, youth, and the adults. I have organized some mother/daughter acitivities and super Saturday craft/home making activites with the adults. I have been a visiting teacher.
