Hi I'm Andraya

I was born and raised in Oregon, I'm currently serving a mission in Arizona, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm the youngest of 3 children in my family. I graduated high school in 2011 and went to BYU and community college back in Oregon for a year. I then worked as an office assistant at New York Life for 8 months before leaving on a mission to Arizona.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this is the true church upon the Earth. I know that Joseph Smith restored the gospel of Jesus Christ in these days. I know that by following the teaching of Jesus Christ and all of the other prophets that have been called of God we can return to live with our Father in Heaven after this life.

How I live my faith

Christ taught and loved every person that he came in contact with. Before I left on my mission I was a ward missionary in the Young Single Adult ward. On Thursday nights we would go and visit members of the ward and see how they were doing and see if there was anything we could do to help them. We wanted everyone to know that we loved them and that their Heavenly Father loves them and wants them to do all they can to return to live with him. We followed Christ's example and loved the other members of our ward and encouraged them to do all they could to follow the Savior's example for themselves. I grew up in an area where I had more non-Mormon friends than Mormon friends. In choosing my friends I looked for people who had the same standards as I did. This made it much easier to keep the commandments that the Lord has given to us. I still have been faced with times where I have had to limit the amount of time I spend with some of my friends because I know that what they are doing is not what the Lord wants for His children. I have gained more friends in the church who have helped strengthen my testimony and have made it easier to live as a worthy member of the Mormon church.
