Hi I'm Taylor Pulsipher

I'm a singer, a friend, a family member, a missionary, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a college student studying music education at BYU-Idaho. I served as a full time missionary in the Bolivia Santa Cruz North mission from 2013-2015 hablando el Español! I have been home for a year now and I miss the Bolivian people every day. I love to sing. I love hanging out with my best friends, who are not LDS. I love them so much! I have the coolest parents in the world! If you met them you would agree with me. I have 3 siblings who are all pretty cool people. I love older movies. With Doris Day, Cary Grant, Audrey Hepburn, etc. I love Frank Sinatra's voice! I love kids. I love being myself and showing people I can be self confident even though I'm not even close to perfect. I'm not tall, I'm not skinny, and I'm not the prettiest girl, but who cares! I'm a daughter of God and I'm totallly awesome! I believe music can touch lives. I believe sunshine is beautiful. I believe bubbles have the power to make anyone smile. I believe you choose to be happy. I believe the choice to be happy is easier to make when holding an ice cream cone. I believe everyone has something to give. I believe there's a purpose to everything. I believe my parents love me. I believe God loves me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church. I went to church and did everything I was supposed to do for a long time. I was generally happy because the lifestyle of LDS Members is a good one. My personal testimony grew little by little as I continued making good choices, making mistakes, and continuing through life. I decided to serve as missionary for the church and did so from 2013-2015. The time I spent in the mission field was the hardest, most fulfilling I've ever done. During that time, I needed the Lords presence in my life at all times. I was blessed with many trials, and wonderful experiences that required faith on my part. I spent all of my time reading the scriptures and focusing on Christ. I truly had to trust the Lord at all times. My relationship with my Heavenly Father grew as I shared what I knew to be true to the people of Bolivia. I received many confirmations that God loves us and that he gave us the gospel to help us be happy in this life.

How I live my faith

I just do. I know what my standards are and I live by them. I refuse to lower them for anyone. They protect me and help me. By living my standards, people see my actions and know what I believe. The way I act is an example of what I believe. I don't say I believe one thing and then go out and act differently, even if it would help me fit in. I love serving others. Yes, sometimes it's hard, but if you do it, it will help make others happy and make you happy. It doesn't matter who you are, everyone loves to be loved. I do my best to love everyone and not judge them. I know I wouldn't want people judging me. I do my best to be a friend to everyone.
