Hi I'm Travis

I grew up in Arkansas. I love spending time with my family, playing sports, and ice-cream. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am blessed to be a husband and father. I love my family very much. Together we like to play games and go to the park. I go to school full-time and am studying airport administration. My degree is fun to me and I enjoy studying it. In my spare time I enjoy physical exercise. I especially like playing football and basketball. I also like watching comedy and thriller movies.

Why I am a Mormon

I have chosen to be a Mormon because I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church of Christ. I know this because I have read the Book of Mormon and have followed the council given in it, to ask God if it be true. Through the power of the Holy Ghost I received an answer to prayer that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that this is the true church of Christ. I believe that anyone who has a sincere heart, real intent, and faith in Christ can also know of its truthfulness. Through attending my church meetings I am able to build my testimony in Christ and help others do the same. I love this gospel.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by being an example of our Savior Jesus Christ. My family and I enjoy attending our church meetings and worshiping God with our ward family. For the last few years I have had the opportunity to work with the youth of our ward. Teaching them and helping them come to know of our Father in Heaven helps strengthen my testimony of Him. At least one night a week my family and I try to set aside time to all be together and talk about principles of the gospel. This is an opportunity to teach my children about the Savior.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

The missionaries are here to invite all to come unto Christ. They can teach you about Him and about Gods plan for us. They can answer important life questions like, "why are we here?". Show more Show less
