Hi I'm PennyG

I am from Oregon, married with 5 children. I am child daycare provider and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 40-something mother and wife and new grandma. For the most part I have worked out of my home in order to be able to stay at home with my children when they were little. But I have also had several jobs outside of the home, mostly in retail or the agriculture industries. In my spare time I enjoy reading, creating graphics on my paint shop pro program, and genealogy.

Why I am a Mormon

I LOVE the church. My family has been richly blessed for our membership. The gospel gives us a roadmap of how to live happy and healthy lives. Answers to questions of where we were before birth and were we will go after death have been answered. We have amazing friends in the church and not matter where we go, there will always be people there to welcome us in the church. Heavenly Father's church is the same in this town, in the next state, in another country, just as Heavenly Father is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. I know that eternal happiness can be found if we follow the scriptures and the gospel teachings. I know that God lives and that Jesus is the Christ, our Redeemer and Savior. I know that They love us and want us to return to live with Them someday. Heavenly Father is waiting and wanting to shower us with His blessings if we only do our part by living a righteous life and follow His teachings that are contained in the Bible and the Book of Mormon. This is my testimony that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is God's true church, in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

Along with an amazing partner, I am a vistiting teacher to four awesome women in our ward. I have had many callings in the church since being baptized. Right now I am the music director and chorister for our ward. This works fabulously as I love music. I also substitute in the primary with the children, or teaching adults when needed.
