Hi I'm Natalie

I am a student. a daughter. a sister. a friend. a singer. an explorer. a believer. a leader. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of two children. I am involved in my school which is one of the largest in the state with about 4,000 kids and so little Mormons it becomes stressful at times. I'm involved in volunteering and in clubs. I live in a family where the priesthood of the church does not reside but love does. I plan on attending college on a BYU campus and possibly serving as a sister missionary. I am a singer, in a very well known choir in our state and I absolutely love it! I am a full time nerd, not only in school but in comics and super heroes and star wars and Batman and any other nerdy thing around. Soccer is my sport I played for a very long time and I have been coaching now for two seasons and I and absolutely adore it! I love the beach which is a good thing because I live five minutes away. My parents are in the restaurant business so food is a language in our household. I am interested in Physiology and pediatrics so hopefully I can get them to connect for later on in life. I love reading I love old books and just sitting around and reading. I enjoy meeting new people and really getting to know someone. I tend to see the glass half full and live for each moment. And I love being a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because I can't imagine my life without being a Mormon. When I was younger I attended a baptism for a relative, before it began we sang a hymn called I Stand All Amazed. At the moment the hymn started I began to feel overwhelmed, with a warmth and a joy, being only about six or seven I did not realize that this was the first experience I had that shaped my faith of this gospel. This being one of many things to occur to place in me the Testimony I have today. I am truly the happiest as I live the gospel of Christ. There is no greater joy than the knowledge I have of the truthfulness of this. I have a testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints. I can tell you without a doubt that Christ lives. that he loves each of us and knows us so personally. That he will never leave our side. That there is a prophet on the earth named Thomas S. Monson. That the Book of Mormon is of God and that if you prayerfully seek after the truth in it. you will receive an answer. I have a testimony of prayer, that Heavenly Father hears my prayers and that they are answered that he hears all our prayers, that he knows us each by name. That Christ atoned for our sins that through him my soul is saved, and that each of us have the ability to return to our Heavenly Father. I know that all it takes is faith and the ability to truly open your heart that this truth can be shown to anyone. I know that one day, I will stand in the presence of my Savior and Heavenly Father. I testify that they do not love us for this brief season on this earth but eternally. and I know that if anyone but seek after these things with an open heart and mind, that they will also know of these truths. "Compared to God, man is nothing; yet we are everything to God." I am a Mormon, I live it. I learn it. and I love it.

How I live my faith

Living my faith is a daily concept. I try to be a walking example of what my faith is for me. I attend early morning seminary, which is a bible study that allows us to start the day off on the right track, it is a major blessing. I am part of the youth program for our church, as one of the older girls I am a leader and strive to be there for all girls, because we are a family. I participate in any activities we do as a whole and things we do with the young men in our church. I take personal time to read from the scriptures and allow my faith to grow. As I pray and communicate with God my faith increases and is re-enforced. As I live my standards my faith is truly shown because they allow me to really stand as an example at all times. I think that faith is shown on my face I try to let the joy that comes from my faith show through. Faith is the basis of what I believe. Without it I couldn't have belief in anything else I stand for. Faith is simple and pure, and easy. All we need to do is have faith and the rest can come easy. Faith is how I receive blessings in my life and I am so thankful for the faith I have in Jesus, my Heavenly Father, and in living the gospel.
