Hi I'm Caleb

Born in Provo, raised in Spanish Fork. Love running and the great out doors.

About Me

I love books and learning, but neither of the two when they're for school. Running is a passion of mine and I hope to run a marathon one day but until then I'll stick to hiking, biking, running and swimming... whatever takes me out-doors. For the next two years I'll be packing away my racing shoes and serving a full time mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I love how the church is always asking more of me... I feel like it's the only way we grow. The only way to strengthen a muscle is through progressive overload and I feel that principle applies to our spirits. The church often requires so much of its members that it's inconvenient... but I know that there isn't any other way available for us to grow. Each day the gospel of Jesus Christ expects us to push ourselves past our limits and I'm so glad I have that opportunity as a missionary. The doctrines of the gospel bring me peace even while I grow and I know they're what my Heavenly Father wants from me.

How I live my faith

I love teaching primary and helping the kids in my class understand the doctrines of the gospel that I know to be true. It's fun to hear their small testimonies grow each week as their knowledge develops and I hear them repeating things I've said. I love attending the temple as often as I can and I'm grateful for the privileged of holding the Melchizedek Priesthood so that I can assist in baptizing and confirming among other work for the dead in the temple.
