Hi I'm Jordan

I'm a Ballroom dancer, I love playing sports, I love being in the beautiful outdoors! I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I have grown up in the church my whole life. I love it! I'm so excited to be going on a Mission! I am so happy to be going to preach the gospel in American Sign Language (ASL). I have been learning ASL since I was a little girl and fell in love with this beautiful language. I'm greatful I have the chance to teach the people of Portland, Oregon in ASL! Like a lot of other people I love to play sports. I also love the outdoors I will make up excuses so I can be outside. When ever I can I like to get away and go hiking in the mountains. I enjoy being out in nature. I also love Ballroom dance. I hope to someday be a professional ballroom dancer and compete Caberet.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the church all my life. I have a very strong testimony of this church. Ever since I was a small girl I know this church is true. I knew this from my faith in prayer. When I was little I had lost my favorite stuffed animal. I prayed to Heavenly Father to help me find it. Then after I said the prayer I had a warm happy feeling and I knew where to look. I went to the spot where I was thinking and found it there. Even being a small child these answers to my prayers have helped me know that my Heavenly Father is there watching over me and I can feel his love for me. Recenlty I just got my Mission call to preach in American Sign Language (ASL). I cried when I found out what language I was teaching in. I had been praying that I would get the chance to serve and teach in ASL. Again I knew that Heavenly Father listens to our prayers and he knows each and everyone of us individually. He knows what we are going through and he wants us to communicate with him so he can help us through our personal lives. I have seen his hand countless times in my life helping me go in the right direction. I am so grateful I have grown up in this wonderful gospel and have an amazing family who is always there for me. I'm so happy I get to be with them for eternity! I look forward to the day when I will be married and sealed to my own family for all time and eternity. I know the Book of Mormon is a true book. I know Joseph Smith was a true prophet. I know that Thomas S. Monson is a true and living prophet on this earth today. I know that Heavenly Father talks through his prophets to help give us guidence to help us through our life. I am so thankful that we have temples where we can go and feel closer to our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I know Jesus Christ atoned for our sins and he loves everyone on this earth. I am so thankful for this gospel and to know I will be with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ again. I say this things in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

How I live my faith

I want to be a wonderful example to my nieces, nephews, siblings, parents, friends, and everyone around me. One way I am able to be an example right now is I'm going to be serving a mission! I hope that my nieces and nephews will also go on missions. Also I do my best to have a positive attitude when life is rough. I share the gospel with my friends and those around me when they have questions about the church. Whenever someone opens a door for you to teach them jump on that chance cause you never know when that door will open to you again. The more you jump on those chances you will see more doors open. That is something I have learned in my life.
