Hi I'm Megan

I grew up in Utah. I played Lacrosse. I am currently serving a mission in the Canada Edmonton mission. And I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of four and am very close to my family. My family and I have all played Lacrosse. I love to be outdoors and doing something active. Running is one of my favorite things to do; and last year I was able to complete my first half marathon. I attended Utah State University for a year and a half and loved every minute of it!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it just makes sense. Even though I was raised a member of the church, I still had to be converted to the gospel. There is so much to learn and understand with this gospel, but I know that I can find the answers in The Book of Mormon. It is something that I have to work at everyday by just doing the basics: praying to my Heavenly Father, repent, reading the Book of Mormon, and going to church. I know that this is the true church and I am on the right path because of the precious gift of the Holy Ghost. It is a feeling that makes me feel like I am never alone, it is a beautiful feeling. It is because of our savior Jesus Christ and his infinite Atonement that I am able to feel that feeling. I am not perfect, but I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and that I am a daughter of God.

How I live my faith

I have had many opportunities to teach the gospel. I was able to teach the Young Women a couple of times. I have been able to talk about different topics in a couple of meetings. After I graduated from high school I had the great opportunity to start to visiting teaching in college. A couple of years ago I was able to help plan for the Draper Temple dedication celebration. I have had many great opportunities.
