Hi I'm Chandler

I'm a missionary. I'm a wing cook. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I love running, playing music, thinking, playing board games, building things, eating buffalo wings, hiking and camping, skiing, and spending time with family and close friends. When I was in high school, I played the French Horn, and was also in marching band. I have gained a love for music, and currently I am learning to play the Ukelele. I enjoy running, and try to go at least a few times a week. Exercising just feels good, and it gets rid of a lot of my stress. I like to think about challenging things, and so I love math! When you get through a tough problem, you always feel good about yourself. I also like to think about and analyze different situations and so I also love to play board games, especially where there is a lot of strategy involved. I love to build things, especially with wood. I love being in a shop and smelling sawdust and creating something interesting and useful. I absolutely love buffalo wings. By far, they are my favorite food. I worked at a buffalo wing restaurant and loved it! I love to hike and go camping and backpacking. Being outdoors is the best! I love skiing, and while I'm not yet very good at it, I love the snow and the slopes. I love to spend time with my family and I love them very much. I couldn't imagine life without them!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up going to church because my parents wanted me to. I didn't dislike church, but i didn't truly believe it for myself yet either. There were a lot of trials during my teenage years that really grew my faith, and because of the example of friends and family, I continued to stay active in the church and attend all of my meetings, even though it sometimes was very hard. The more I tried to learn for myself, the more I came to know the truth. I no longer just went because of my parents, I went for myself. What a wonderful experience it was. I came to know, in a very personal way, that Christ is my savior and that the Book of Mormon is a true book. I've felt the love of God many times in my life, and I know that I am his son, and that we are all his Children. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has helped me in my own personal conversion to the Savior, and I know that it is God's Kingdom, once again established on the earth.

How I live my faith

Currently, I am a full-time missionary for the church! I love it! As such, I represent the church in all that I do and say. Each day I go out and invite others to learn more about the wonderful message that we have to share! I love reading the scriptures, and studying the words of Christ. As a missionary, I spend all of my time teaching others about God, his wonderful plan for us, and about the Savior Jesus Christ and his Gospel. When I am released as a missionary, I will return to my home and continue to participate in church activities and community events. Even though, at that time, I will no longer be a full-time representative of the Church, I hope to always be able to help others to learn about the Savior, Jesus Christ, no matter where I find myself in life.
