Hi I'm Kim Morgan

I'm a University student. I'm an artist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a Carolina girl, and I'm currently going to college. I'm hoping to study Animation and become a concept artist for Walt Disney Animation Studios. I love to watch movies, and art is my passion. I also love ice cream and laughing.

Why I am a Mormon

I was lucky to be born into a family who loves the gospel of Jesus Christ. Even though I have been a member of this church since I was eight, I have truly been converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have asked God if the gospel is true, and I have found that, with out a doubt, it is the truth. Everyday I wake up and rejoice in the blessing of life that God has given me. I have blessed with the opportunity to receive an education and with a family who loves me. I have been blessed with so many things that won't fit into this tiny little space. I am a Mormon because the gospel is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith when I volunteer at church. Currently, I am the compassionate service leader, which means that I help out my ward members when they are sick, need a favor, or just need to talk. I sometimes organize activities for my ward members to perform service, but I'm usually just a friend who is there when someone needs me. In my previous ward I was a nursery leader, where I taught children 18 months to 3 years old. I loved that calling. I also live my faith by being an example to my friends and family members, and always striving to chose the right.

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Kim Morgan
We are asked to donate 10% of our income to the church to help with the building of temples, churches, and other services that the church provides. It's a way for church members to help build up the Mormon communities in their areas and help others around the world. Show more Show less

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Kim Morgan
A testimony is a knowledge that something is true. You can have a testimony in God, Jesus Christ, the scriptures, prophets from ancient and modern times, and more. Testimonies don't have to be perfect, and we can go to church, read scriptures, and pray every day to strengthen our testimonies. Show more Show less

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Kim Morgan
One of the best ways to know if The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true is to pray to Heavenly Father about it. Then listen for the spirit. The answer can come in many different ways, but I usually feel peace and comfort when I pray to know if this church is true, which is the Holy Ghost telling me that it is. Show more Show less
