Hi I'm Cindi

I am from Pocatello, Idaho. I am the tenth of twelve children. I attend BYU-Idaho. I'm a Christian. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm Sister Wadsworth. I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have been called by a prophet of God, who receives revelation directly from Heavenly Father. I am going to the Korea, Daejeon mission. I'm blessed to be in a family of missionaries. I am the 9th of my siblings to serve a mission. My older sister, Juline, served her mission in the Korea, Seoul mission, and my other older sister, Jamie, is serving a mission at the same time as I am in the Korea, Buson mission. I'm excited for us to all speak Korean together when we get home, but I am more excited to have the precious and sacred expiriences that I know a mission will bring.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes my happy. There is no joy that is more pure than the joy that I receive from serving and loving my Savior, Jesus Christ. I know that blessings come to me when I am obedient to His holy Word and when I keep the commandments. I'm a Mormon because God speaks directly to the prophet of this church, Thomas S. Monson, and he tells God's will to us. I am a Mormon because, with the proper priesthood authority held by worthy men in this, the LDS church, I can be sealed together with my family for eternity in the holy temple. I am a Mormon because there is no feeling sweeter than knowing that I have been, and am being lead by a Heavenly Father who wants what is best for me.

How I live my faith

I love the support and love I receive from the members of my church. Even those I don't know are always willing to reach out and bless my life. I have been strengthened and supported greatly be the great love and faith of others. Neighbors and family have helped my build the foundation of my own faith, and with their love I have felt a deep desire to reach out and love others as well. I am currently serving a mission, I am training in the Missionary Training Center for the next four weeks, but soon I will be out on the streets of Korea teaching the gospel to my beloved spirit brothers and sisters. I am so excited to reach out and extend a loving hand of service to those dear people. I love my Heavenly Father and me Savior Jesus Christ, and I want others to develop a relationship with them. I want everyone to know that they are a child of a God.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Cindi
A relationship with Heavenly Father is something so personal and so individual, but the ways to develop or strengthen that relationship are the same for everyone. One of the most important aspects of a relationship is conversing. We can talk to our Heavenly Father through prayer. Tell Him your worries, your troubles and trials. Tell Him about your blessings and your goals. Ask Him to help you and teach you. Just think, you have access to the most powerful being in the universe; and He loves you. If you dont believe that He loves you, ask Him to tell you, and then listen and look for an answer. Exercise faith in Him by looking for an answer: Seek for what you want to find. Our God is God, and He will answer you. Keep asking and keep searching. He already knows you, now you must work to get to know Him. Show more Show less
