Hi I'm McKenna

I'm a small town girl, I'm a sports enthusiast, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of five girls. I love my family and my sisters are my best friends! Something is always going on in our house. We have so much fun together. I just finished my freshman year in college at Brigham Young University. I recently decided to major in Communication Disorders. I love working with others and cannot wait to continue my education. I'm competitive and absolutely love playing and watching sports with friends. My mom and dad center activities around our family. Even March Madness is a family event in our house!

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel of Christ brings me joy. It provides direction and meaning to my life. I am happiest when I follow the commandments of my Heavenly Father. I know this church is true because I have lived it. I know that families can be together forever and that through Christ's plan I will be able to see my family and friends that have passed away bed

How I live my faith

I am currently serving an 18 month mission in Fukuoka, Japan. I love this gospel so much and it brings me so much joy that I want to share it with others. In our church we believe that we are Heavenly Fathers children. That makes the people around us our brothers and sisters no matter where they live. I am excited to serve the people of Japan and share with them the blessings of the gospel. In my college ward I helped with the visiting teaching program. We believe that we are our "brother's keeper." The visiting teaching program assigns girls to visit with other women in the church. It is truly an inspired program. I have met lifelong friends and been able to perform service in ways that wouldn't have been possible without the Visiting Teaching program.
