Hi I'm Devin

I'm from Utah. I love science and I know that God is there. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student in pharmacy school, soon to graduate. I am married to a wonderful woman and we love to travel, hike, ride bikes and do anything outside. I love to play and listen to music and read anything I can get my hands on. I have always loved science and learning about the world around me and I feel my interest and excitement about science has strengthened my faith and my belief in God. I spent two years as a missionary in Taiwan sharing with others my faith and I loved every minute of it. My wife and I hope soon to be parents and I know that family is the most important part of life. There are few things more satisfying and enjoyable than sharing in positive, happy and uplifting family relationships and my wife and I are going to do all that we can to ensure our family is a happy one that is full of love. God’s plan is for us to come to earth and to gain experience, to learn and to progress and the most important means we have to accomplish this is through our family relationships.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of countless experiences in life that have helped to know that God is there, that he is real, and that true and lasting happiness in life is to be found in the teachings of Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon because life has not always been easy for me but through the teachings of Jesus Christ and His love for me, my struggles and trials have always helped me to progress and strengthened my faith. I am a Mormon because I find joy and happiness in life and because I feel so much purpose and direction in life because of my faith and my beliefs. I am a Mormon because in the most difficult, darkest and hardest times of my life, God never left me alone and he always enabled me to feel of his love. I am a Mormon because I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the Mormon Church) is God’s true church and that its teachings are true. I love science and science has always enriched my faith and belief in God. Science is the pursuit of truth and I know that through the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints I have found truth.

How I live my faith

I try to be a friend to all I meet and help anybody I can throughout my day. At church, I help with record keeping and some of the administrative tasks that need to be done. I spent two years sharing my beliefs with others as a missionary and I try each chance I get to share my faith with others. I try to help others to realize that I am happy and I find joy in life because of my faith, my values and my beliefs that are centered on Christ and His teachings. I believe relationships with others are one of the most important parts of life and I strive to treat everyone as a child of God and someone who needs to feel my love and God’s love. I also believe that family is the most important part of life and I try in every way I can to put my family as the first priority my life.
