Hi I'm Madelyn

I'm still growing up. I love my nephews and nieces and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I'm going to school and getting used to being married. It's a fun life, but challenging of course. I want to travel the world and meet people from all around. I love adventure--from studying a book to climbing a mountain--and I'm never satisfied with the mundane. I also love animals of all kinds and I love playing with my little nephews and nieces. Family and life can be so fun!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, which means my parents were members and I was lucky enough to be raised with the teachings of Jesus in my home. I decided to be baptized at 8 years old because I knew Jesus loved me and I knew that being baptized in his church was the way to be happy and live with him again. In my adolescent years, I learned more about what it is to be a "mormon." The more I learned, the more I loved the gospel and knew it was truth. I continue to live by what Jesus teaches me because that is how I keep discovering new, rich truth about my life--I live it to know it.

How I live my faith

I like to get involved, but I never feel like I have the time. That's why I love my callings so much--I get to help other people without even thinking about it! I have been a leader in primary school and with the women of my ward and I've always been a visiting teacher. That's when a companion and myself visit with other women in the ward and share an uplifting, gospel-centered message with them. It's a great way to help others temporally as well as spiritually and I make some great friends along the way. Primary school was one of my favorite callings. I got to teach the kids! It was so fun to learn how they learn and to just have a good time learning about the gospel of Jesus Christ.
