Hi I'm Annie

I grew up in Utah. I'm an English teaching major and I want to teach high school. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am going to college right now working towards a degree in English teaching with a French minor. I love hiking and running and being outside. I love to read and play the piano. I have two brothers, a sister, a brother in law and an adorable niece.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints my parents were always a wonderful example to me of faithful members of the Church. They always encouraged me to read the scriptures and pray to my Heavenly Father. In my early teens I realized that I wanted to know for myself if the Church was Christ's true church on this earth. So I prayed and I asked. I received my answer and I knew in my heart without a doubt that this was Christ's true church. My testimony has given me so much strength in my life. Whenever I am struggling or feeling low I always know that I can turn to my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ for help. They understand what I am going through even when no one else does and they will help me get through anything.

How I live my faith

I try my best to live as Christ would want me to and be an example of the believers. I participate in my ward and do my best to accomplish what I am asked to do. I plan monthly weekday activities for the women in my ward. Occasionally I get the opportunity to teach the women on Sunday. I love the opportunities I get to teach because I always learn so much in the process and from the comments given.
