Hi I'm Kyle

I was born and raised in Texas. I was highly involved in Choir and Drama and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love music and all things artistic. I find meeting new people and listening to their stories a fascinating way to learn. I also love being active outside - hiking, football, frisbee. Running around outside allows me to de-stress and get away from the worries of the day. I am currently a college student studying looking into a few different fields and loving it.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and was an active member growing up. But just because I was active doesn't necessarily mean I was converted. It wasn't until the summer of 2012 that I really made the decision myself that I love this church and recognized the happiness it brings me. I know my Heavenly Father loves me and smiles down on me when I make righteous choices and is disappointed in me when I may not make the best decisions. But I know he always loves all of His children and that love has given me the desire to always strive to be the best person I can be - to strive to be like Christ in all aspects of my life. I know Joseph Smith restored the Lord's gospel again on the Earth today and that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and invites the Spirit into our lives every time we read it with a true desire to learn and grow from it. I have been so blessed in my life to have a knowledge of our purpose here on Earth and to know what our Father in Heaven expects of us and I cannot wait to return to live with Him again one day. This is my eternal goal here on this Earth and this is what I constantly strive for. To do what my loving Heavenly Father wants of me, because that is what brings true happiness.

How I live my faith

I try to be the best example I can be to those around me. They may not know what church I go to or what I believe, but I hope they see me as a kind and loving person. I live my faith by actively going to church and studying the scriptures so that I can know what the Lord wants of me - and I try to share this with those around me. I live my faith by serving the people around me. This may not come naturally and I may not be successful one-hundred percent of the time, but I know that no one is perfect. I try to be the best person I can be and that is how I live my faith.
