Hi I'm Grant Evans

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Shingle Springs, CA and now live in Springville, UT and go to Southern Utah University.

About Me

I am a Freshman at SUU and I have recently been called to the Argentina Buenos Aires South mission and I leave June 5th. I am on the track team at SUU competing in both Hammer and Shot Put. I am the youngest out of 6 children and my closest sibling is 12 years older than me. My hobbies include, being active anyway I can, fly-fishing, basketball and baseball, watching a good movie and cooking (I'm still working on it).

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I KNOW this church is true. I was born into the church and I couldn't have been more grateful than that. I KNOW the Joseph Smith was the first prophet of the restored church and that Thomas S. Monson is the prophet we have today. I KNOW that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ and that all the teachings are true. I KNOW that miracles can happen. If you have a lot of faith that something will workout or if you just need help in something, they will come true if you believe it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by participating in my callings when I am given them. I home teach an apartment at my college and I love telling them about the message I bring to them. I go to institute often and I read the Book of Mormon daily. I say my prayers daily and often fast every sunday. I participate in Sundays by being with my family or cooking a dinner for someone I know and just try to provide charity to anyone I know.
