Hi I'm Jordan

I am a Singer, Ballroom Dancer, Ultimate Frisbee player, and Kite-boarder, and now a Missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student. I come from a family of four. I love the outdoors and love to play sports. I love to take on a challenge. I love to sing and dance. One thing that I have come to find is that God is in the little details of our life.

Why I am a Mormon

I as Nephi of old was born of goodly parents. I was raised in the gospel, but that isn't why I've stayed. There comes a time in everyone's life when we need to find out for ourselves. I discovered the truthfulness of the gospel of living by its teachings. The happiness and joy I have felt in the gospel is incomparable to anything else in my life. I have seen that that happiness doesn't just end with me. Any and all who join the gospel of Jesus Christ will find more peace and happiness in their lives. I have seen people who are angry with God and with the world and don't know there purpose in life. I have seen when they come to the gospel that they become happy. They find the peace in their lives, not because things get easier, but because they know what their purpose is. They know what they are here to do and they know where they are going. I am a Mormon because I know that the gospel is true. I am a Mormon because I know that a man can only find true peace and happiness through the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

When I heard about doing genealogy work I thought that it wasn't a really big deal and that both sides of my family had been completed as much as possible. I was wrong. As I looked at my family through familysearch.org I discovered that there is a lot of work to be done. In fact, in one year I was able to find over 1,000 of my ancestors that needed work done. There is always work to be done.
