Hi I'm Marlene Bennion

On 19th of June 1958 I married Don Bennion in the Salt Lake Temple. We now have 10 children and 49 grand children.

About Me

I'm 76 yrs. old. I married my high school sweetheart, Don. We have been married for 56 yrs. I am a stay- at- home mom and a mother of 10 children. Our second child and first boy was a Downs Syndrome boy. We were privileged to have him in our home for 49 yrs. We named him Russell Udell Bennion. He died 3 yrs ago. Our Heavenly Father loves us so much that he's provided a plan of salvation so that we can live with our loved ones again. We have made covenants with our Heavenly Father in his house the "LDS Temple" that if we keep his commandments that we can be with Rusty and our loved once more, that we can be an eternal family. We look forward to seeing Rusty again in his true statute. I love being a motherrand grandmother and love serving my family. I play the piano and love to chrochet and do indexing. We served a mission in Sri-Lanka and are currently serving our 2nd mission in Nauvoo.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the LDS church. I have gained my own testimony of the gospel through study and prayer. I know the gospel is true, that Joseph Smith was a Prophet of God. That he saw Heavenly Father and his Son Jesus Christ and restored the true church to the earth today. President Thomas S. Monson is our Prophet on earth today and receives revelation from God.

How I live my faith

I have had many callings in the church. I've worked in about every organization. I've loved all my callings but mostly loved working with the youth.
