Hi I'm Jesse

I love meeting new people. I consider everyone to be my friend. I am a Mormon!

About Me

I have played soccer ever since I could walk. I love it! I will play until my legs no longer can follow me. I have been blessed with the opportunity to serve a mission to what I believe is the soccer capital of the world... Spain! I am sooo excited! Other hobbies are side walk chalk, wake boarding, being with my family and friends and doing anything random and spontaneous. I love change, anything that creates change... even a broken bone. Makes life more fun and interesting.

Why I am a Mormon

I love this gospel! I have always known it is true. The reason I love it is because it helps you be the best person you can possibly be. It provides the happiest life style. Religion isn't meant to be easy, or else how would it test our faith? There is something special that I feel every time I go to church. It is the holy ghost testifying to me that it is true. I can't deny that feeling. I know that it is true and I love it with all my heart. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and I see it strengthening my life every time I read it. I know that Jesus Christ loves me personally. I have felt his love in my life and he is always there for me. I testify that this is the true church and I will live for it forever!

How I live my faith

I love going to church! I feel like it is a way to connect with God and grow closer with my community. Any chance I get, I will go to a conference or gathering that I can because I get to further my knowledge of the gospel and of my Savior Jesus Christ. I meet with a lot of the youth of the church to share my personal experiences with them and help them get through the hard years of high school and other situations they may be facing. Right now at my ward I am in the friendship committee which I love because I get to meet a bunch of new people and become their friend.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

A testimony is something that is known to be true. Sometimes someone may say I know (something) to be true or I testify (something) to be true. Its something you can't deny and you want to share that feeling, knowledge and truth with others. Show more Show less
