Hi I'm Sarah

I secretly love math, cats and k-dramas. But it's no secret that I am a Mormon.

About Me

I recently made the decision to take a leave of absence from my University to serve an 18 month mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It was not easy to put my life on hold for a while, but I know it will all be worth it. I have been assigned to labor in the Peru, Lima Central Mission, which I find to be an amazing blessing. I'm so excited to be able to represent the church and share the joy that the gospel brings me to others. Especially in place that is so dear to me. Peru is the land of my father and if it weren't for missionaries that served there my family wouldn't know the happiness of the gospel! I'm so grateful to have the opportunity to serve my God and my people.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was young my parents taught me the importance of going to church every week to learn and ponder about Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Through all my years and obedience to the commandments given to us I have come to know that They are real. I have built a testimony that is my own. I know that God is kind and he wants to bless us. He knows us each individually and if we let Him into our world He will light it. I know that no matter what our trial is, we are never alone.

How I live my faith

I love to smile! I strive to: Pray often, read the scriptures daily, heed to the words of our modern-day prophets, visit the temple, sincerely love my fellow men and serve them to my ability. And I know that it is because of this that I can't help but smile. And that is how I live my faith.
