Hi I'm Mallory

I am a piano playing, always smiling, animal loving girl with a passion for ASL. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I started playing piano 9 years ago and I absolutely love it! I also enjoy watching movies, playing with my nieces and reading books. Currently, I am studying American Sign Language in college.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love the Lord. This church teaches us to have faith in Jesus Christ and believe in Him. This gospel has blessed my life in so many ways. I feel happiness in my every day life. Through this gospel, families are able to live together even after death. This can be obtained by participating in temple ordinances for ourselves and our ancestors. I know that we have heavenly parents who watch over us and protect us. We are in this life to become more like Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. They have given us tools to help us along the way. A couple of those tools that are readily available to us are the scriptures and prayer. I love this gospel with all my heart. I know that if you are willing to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior, you will be blessed more than ever before. You just need to rely on Him, keep His commandments and strive to become better every day.

How I live my faith

People have asked me on many occasions to play piano or the organ for them and I have always been more than willing to help. I love being able to share my talents with the people around me. I also strive to be an example of Jesus Christ every day through serving others and standing up for what I believe in.

Are Mormons Christians?

Mallory
Yes! Mormons are Christian. The official name of our church is: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We believe that Jesus Christ's original church was lost after Christ, and the apostles' death. However, His church has been restored to the earth once again through the prophet Joseph Smith. We do not worship Joseph Smith, we worship Jesus Christ. The reason that we do not wear the cross is because we focus more about Christ's resurrection than His crucifixion. Show more Show less
